BRIGITTEGATE
THE RESEARCH AND
THE PERSONS BEHIND IT
There are quite a lot of people sleuthing, but these are the main ones

There are many people reporting on and digging into this issue, but the biggest sources are the following three:
- the Pressibus website
- this is the big dossier (put online in 2022, and available as free download, also in (AI translated) English), that Candace Owens speaks about in her first videos
- the dossier is immense, and has been expanded and revised since its first publication
- it is still being updated regularly with new information (at the moment only available in French, unless one has the browser translate the page)
- the team, led by Alain Beyrand, has unearthed loads of documents and videos, brought together tons of mainstream media reporting – it is a kind of cave of Ali Baba where you have so much to look at that you hardly can find your way out again, especially since it is structured more as a research diary than a final paper: all red herrings are still mentioned and documented, to show how the present conclusions were arrived at and how sleuths may be led down the wrong path
- the lack of basic, straightforward and correct information, as well as the contradictory statements and manipulated pictures, has forced this team to originally speculate a lot – this is understandable, as they started from scratch and wanted to create a coherent timeline of events which includes everything we know –, but it made sometimes for far-fetched conclusions, which are then rectified as new information comes to light
- they use the facial recognition software Betaface
- being the first big group attempt at getting to the bottom of this affair, they had the unfortunate honour of being infiltrated and befriended by Elysée stooges who pretended to be Brigittologists (sometimes proving their credentials by having genuine documents that nobody had seen before), but turned out to be diverters, sent to confuse and create discord in the team
- Natacha Rey
- is a French citizen who got interested in Brigitte Macron because she was presented by the MSM as this wonderful, gorgeous lady, while in fact, she lacks all grace and feminine behaviour (see the Brigitte Macron As A Woman page), and this gave Natacha the feeling something was ‘off’
- deducted already in 2018 that Brigitte was probably born a man, and started wondering under which name she was born
- is the first person to make the link between Brigitte Macron and Jean-Michel Trogneux, as she recognised the face in the family picture
- was the first to go sleuthing in archives and unearth important documents regarding the Trogneux family and Brigitte and Jean-Michel Trogneux’s past
- had, as a normal citizen, originally no realistic understanding of the deep state, the hidden control the elite have over not only the political and administrative institutions, but also over the police, the media and the judiciary, in short, had no clue what she was up against, but expected, after her revelations, that the judges would simply drag Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron into the court room, let Natacha explain her finds, and then throw the Macrons in jail for deceiving the French public, with everybody living happily ever after
- had very quickly quite dramatic insights and hunches, which is great (and her recognition of Brigitte Macron as Jean-Michel Trogneux is almost certainly true), but which makes for a lack of rational methodology and makes her very vulnerable for legal attacks, as she is very emotional and outspoken
- is therefore prone to prematurely jump to conclusions, make irrational claims and totally far-fetched deductions, and act on those, thereby seriously weakening her position
- did not follow Xavier Poussard‘s advice to wait and get all ducks in a row before acting, but contacted Catherine Audoy-Auzière and ended up threatening that she “would reveal everything”
- was due to that action taken into custody and harshly questioned, having her phone taken and never given back
- discussed the affair some months later on the YT channel of psychic Amandine Roy in a lengthy video interview (deleted after only five days on request of the Elysée), which went unexpectedly viral within a few days (which is very strange for a small, unknown channel), and suddenly brought the affair to the general public’s attention
- was for several years (together with Amandine Roy, who hosted the video interview but has not been otherwise involved in the investigation) the only person attacked and convicted in court, as she was the easiest target (the fact that their video, streamed on a very small channel, went viral might be even due to the Elysée pushing it themselves, in order to create a scapegoat who could be attacked in court)
- has submitted a very large dossier about her finds to the court, which has not yet been made public
- Xavier Poussard
- was until mid-2024 the second editor of the private newsletter Faits & Documents, which publishes portraits, biographies and unknown facts about politicians (resulting from old-fashioned investigative journalism based on provable facts and archival files which constitute an immense database), and which is considered ‘extreme right’, mainly because of its conservative stance and outspokenness – and because it exposes inconvenient truths
- noticed the weirdnesses in Emmanuel Macron’s biography (mainly the meteoric rise in spite of any proof of competence, and a rather large testimony of incompetence) and the enormous absence of information about his youth
- remarked that to propagandise Macron for his first presidency, the press pushed him as ‘a couple’ and spoke more about Brigitte Macron’s family than his, which made it look as if she was participating in the presidential elections
- was informed about Natacha Rey’s theory, contacted her and worked with her for some time
- is through his experience at Faits & Documents very structured and careful, understanding the high voltage when touching political figures and their dirty laundry: knows how political powers are intertwined with the judicial and police forces, and is therefore cautious in his claims and actions
- has obtained several additional documents and pictures that were not provided by the Elysée
- contacted Candace Owens (but also other US podcasters) to provide her with his files with additional information/correction of the Pressibus dossier
- purchased Megvii company’s Face++ software (used by the Chinese government and very highly rated) in order to compare pictures of Brigitte Macron, Jean-Michel Trogneux and Brigitte Trogneux
- found that the software gives a very high probability that Brigitte Macron is in fact Jean-Michel Trogneux
- wrote the best-selling book Becoming Brigitte about the affair
- was interviewed twice by Candace Owens, with the second interview being the last episode of Candace’s series Becoming Brigitte, the title of the English translation of his book
Three mainstream journalists are worth mentioning:
- Emmanuelle Anizon, author of L’affaire Madame
- Sylvie Bommel, author of Il venait d’avoir dix-sept ans
- Virginie Linhart, director of Brigitte Macron: un roman français
All three have voiced irritation and surprise regarding the wall of silence they encountered when it comes to Brigitte’s early life. Virginie Linhart was even interrogated by Brigitte’s chiefs of staff, as if she was committing a crime by contacting Brigitte’s family and former colleagues or classmates. The result is that she obediently produced a movie that has to be categorised as “propaganda fiction for the greater glory of the leader”.
Sylvie Bommel even wrote in her second book (specifically about the almost impossible absence of any trace of André Auzière): “It is like being in an episode of Black Mirror where the President’s offices have found a way to penetrate the brains of his old acquaintances to erase everything.”
Emmanuelle Anizon, a journalist of Le Nouvel Observateur, set out to debunk the ‘fake news’ (she was contractually obliged to include these words in the subtitle of her book), but ended up having more questions than answers, and nothing of substance to debunk the theory with. She interviewed the Brigittologists, and helped Xavier Poussard’s in digging up pictures and interviewing witnesses. Her book details the third court case, but was published before Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy won their appeal. It therefore ends with the temporary “win” of Brigitte Macron in court, which justifies in some way the subtitle. But the book in fact reveals a lot of disturbing facts: it’s more of a confirmation that stuff is seriously wrong in Brigitte’s world.
